The unexpected result of a swiss study: 62% of all interviewed employees stated to have quit a job due to the management. It’s interesting that only 16% of all interviewed managers stated that employees have quit because of them. This is obviously about a „blind spot“: there is a part of the awareness of themselves and their own behavior that the managers are not conscious of. There are techniques to lighten this blind spot in order to be able to react in case of an employee’s upcoming withdrawal. A long-known method is feedback. But receiving and giving feedback is an art of communication and needs practice. Our Consensus communication seminars are explicitly concerned with those techniques.
